We are back! Here is some practical info…

Restarted our Free Budapest Walking Tours !

Dear Travelers, as you can see on our website and Facebook page, too, we have reopened our free tours in Budapest on the 23rd of July! It has been great to see and guide you again in our capital city! 🙂
Let us share some practical information with you that is good to keep in mind!

Closure of the Chain bridge

Due to the renovation of the Chain bridge they have closed it until about the end of 2023… NO cars and NO pedestrians can cross the bridge. Please be careful when you are approaching the meeting point (Batthyány square metro station on the Buda side) of our Free Buda Castle Tour! You will NOT be able to cross the Chain bridge. You have to cross either the white Elisabeth bridge or the Margaret bridge (this one is closer to the meeting point of the Free Buda Castle Tour). OR you can take the metro line nr.2 from the Parliament on the Pest side to the Batthyány square on the Buda side (it is only 1 stop).

All our other free walking tours (Free Budapest Tour, Free Communism Tour, Free Jewish district tour, Free Evening Tour) meet on the Pest side, on the Elisabeth square, about 20 meters away from the big white Ferris wheel.

Please see the Daily tour schedule HERE or click the button on our Home page.
