a little guide to the life and tours in Budapest during the holidays! Here you can find out if our tours start on a specific date, when to visit your favourite attraction, at what time
museums, baths and theatres will close, and other useful information such as the opening hours of food stores or the operating hours of public transportation.

Be sure to check it out if you’re visiting Budapest on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st of December or on the 1st of January!

December 24th – Saturday

Main service is at midnight.

Both the Grand Synagogue and the Jewish Museum are closed on this day.

Public transportation

Metro, buses, trams will operate according to sunday schedule until 4pm, then night buses will run.

Shopping Malls are open for movies only. Some seven-eleven shops will be open all day long.
